A Sweet Celebration: The Mother’s Day Ladybug Tea Party at Lambs Workshop

Each May, the halls of Lambs Workshop fill with extra love and excitement as our four-year-olds prepare for a tradition that’s as heartwarming as it is adorable—the Mother’s Day Ladybug Tea Party.

This beloved annual event is a time for moms to slow down, sip tea, and enjoy special one-on-one time with their little ones in celebration of motherhood. From handmade crafts to sweet songs and tiny treats, the day is filled with joy, laughter, and a whole lot of love.

When the classroom doors open, moms are greeted with beaming smiles, ladybug-themed decorations, and proud preschoolers dressed in their Sunday best. Each table is set with care, often decorated with handmade placemats or ladybug crafts the children have created in the days leading up to the party.

The tea party kicks off with a warm welcome and a performance that melts every heart in the room. The children sing songs they’ve been practicing, complete with motions and giggles, and present their moms with handmade gifts—often things like fingerprint flower pots, painted ladybugs, or sweet drawings that show just how big their hearts are.

Moms are then invited to sit down for tea (or juice served in tea cups!) and enjoy a spread of cookies, fruit, and treats lovingly prepared by the staff. The atmosphere is cozy, cheerful, and filled with conversation—moms connecting, little ones proudly sharing their work, and teachers beaming with pride over how much their students have grown.

The Ladybug Tea Party is a special milestone for our four-year-olds—a moment to share their love and gratitude with their moms in the most heartfelt way. It’s more than just an event—it’s a cherished memory in the making.

To all the amazing moms who joined us this year—thank you for being part of this sweet tradition. You are loved, appreciated, and such a special part of the Lambs Workshop family.

Until next year, we’ll be holding onto the joy of this day and the smiles it brought to so many little faces.

Celebrating Growth and New Beginnings: Lambs Workshop Kindergarten Graduation

There’s something truly magical about watching children reach milestones, and this week’s Lambs Workshop Kindergarten Graduation was no exception. With bright smiles, proud hearts, and a few happy tears, our little Lambs crossed the stage, marking the end of a wonderful year of growth, learning, and friendship.

Set in the heart of our cozy Bedford community at Bethany Covenant Church, the graduation ceremony was filled with joy and charm. The classroom was transformed into a celebration space — complete with handmade decorations, colorful caps, and the sweet sound of giggles and applause.

Each child took a turn in the spotlight, receiving their diploma and sharing a small moment on stage, whether it was a song, a short poem, or simply a wave to their families. These moments captured the essence of everything Lambs Workshop stands for: nurturing confidence, encouraging curiosity, and celebrating each child’s unique personality.

The teachers, who pour so much love and patience into every school day, stood beaming as they congratulated each graduate. Their dedication has been the foundation of the children’s success, and their heartfelt send-offs were felt by every parent in the room.

Parents and families gathered with pride, phones in hand, trying to freeze time as their little graduates beamed with accomplishment. Hugs were exchanged, tears were wiped away, and laughter filled the air — it was a beautiful reminder of how a community can come together to support, uplift, and celebrate its youngest members.

To the Class of 2025 at Lambs Workshop: you did it! Congratulations on your graduation, and may your next adventure be filled with even more discovery, kindness, and joy.
