Our Administrators

  • Melissa Gannon, Director

    Melissa was excited to join the ministry of The Lamb’s Workshop as Director in 2018. Prior to that, she and her family lived in California where she was the Director of a private Christian Preschool called Little Lambs. Mrs. Gannon and her husband Mark are blessed with three children, MaKenzie (6), Myles (3) and Maxwell (1). They reside in Amherst. She enjoys reading, baking, and being outdoors. She has a passion for working with young children and for sharing the love of God with families.

 Our Teachers

  • Maureen Boyden, Kindergarten and KE

    Maureen began teaching at The Lamb’s Workshop in 2000 as a teacher’s assistant in the three- and four-year-old classrooms. In 2008, she returned as lead teacher in a three-year-old classroom. Mrs. Boyden has been serving as kindergarten teacher since 2010. She has her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. Mrs. Boyden married her husband, John, in 1990 and has three children, Kellyn, Katie, and Johnny. She also has two dogs, names Cash & Molly. Both Katie and Johnny are alumni of The Lamb’s Workshop, attending as 3 year olds, 4-year-olds and kindergarteners. In her spare time, Mrs. Boyden loves reading, and spending time with family and friends. Mrs. Boyden recognizes what a special place The Lamb’s Workshop has been and continues to be for herself and her family. “God is at work here. I see it in the children, families, and staff.

  • Janie Lavoie, 4's and AE

    Janie started out at Lamb's as a substitute teacher during school breaks in college. She began her permanent work at Lamb's as an assistant teacher in 2013. Mrs. Lavoie currently teaches the 4's and Kindergarten Enrichment programs. In addition to Lamb's she has worked at the Families in Transition Preschool and various summer school programs at Camp Foster and the Bedford School District. Mrs. Lavoie and her husband, Chad, have two daughters. Mrs. Lavoie also runs her own bakery business, J.L. Sweets…She loves seeing Lamb’s families while she is out working the Farmer’s Markets. Mrs. Lavoie’s favorite part about being in The Lamb's Workshop family is exactly that, “it truly feels like being a part of a family.” The other teachers not only support each other with their teaching skills but strengthen her faith daily. The families and children who attend Lamb’s build a wonderful community for each other as well as the staff and school as a whole.

  • Heidi Wyman, 4's

    Heidi joined the Lamb's staff in 2019, and began teaching the 3's in 2020. Before joining the staff, she served on the Lamb's Board of Directors for nine years and worked as a substitute teacher for 4 years. Mrs. Wyman has a bachelors degree in Elementary Education and has taught K, 2, 5, and 6 grade. She is also on the Children's Ministry staff at Bethany Covenant Church. Mrs. Wyman lives in Goffstown with her husband, two daughters, Emily and Sarah, and her black lab, Belle. Both Emily and Sarah went to Lamb's for preschool and Kindergarten. In her spare time, Mrs. Wyman likes to do crafts, spend time with her family and travel.

  • Jennifer Quinn, 3's

    Jennifer started at Lamb's in 2014. Previously, she taught 3rd grade for seven years and also spent time assisting in a Kindergarten classroom as well as Easter Seals preschool. Mrs. Quinn holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Keene State College, where she met her husband, John. They have two children; Calleigh and Camden and a cat named, Riley. Mrs. Quinn loves spending time with her family and friends and her favorite hobby is crafts. Mrs. Quinn was introduced to Lamb's in 2006 when her niece, Avery, started preschool. “I feel so blessed to be able to be a part of such a special group of women that I hold near and dear to my heart. The staff and teachers at Lamb's have always been kind and supportive. From a parent perspective, I've always been in awe of the hard work and dedication they've put into creating such an amazing atmosphere for a child's first school experience. Now, as a teacher, I am so grateful to be a part of that and look forward to many more years of helping our students grow and discover a love for school and for God.”

  • Deborah Volckman, 3's, 4's

    Debbie's (“Mrs. V”) love for working with preschool aged children stems back to when she was in high school. She started out teaching in a daycare center and has been caring for and teaching youngsters ever since. A stay-at-home mom to four now grown children, Mrs. V. also provided them their educational base, homeschooling for eight years. Mrs. V. joined The Lamb’s Workshop in 1999 and currently teaches Kindergarten Enrichment. Mrs. V. has resided in Goffstown with her husband since 1989. She is the grandmother of three, and loves reading, bird watching, gardening and walking. Mrs. V. sees her years at The Lamb’s Workshop not only as her employment, but also as her ministry and social life. She loves the bonds and friendships she has made with the women she works with.

  • Erin Flanagan, AE

    Erin started teaching at The Lamb’s Workshop in 2012, but first fell in love with our special school in 2004 as a mom. All three of Mrs. Flanagan’s children are proud Lamb’s alumni. She has wonderful memories of her eldest as the strong man in the circus, sharing the Ladybug tea with her daughter and sending her baby into the loving arms of Mrs. Chismark on his very first day of school! Mrs. Flanagan earned her undergraduate degree from Hamilton College and holds a Master’s Degree in Education from Boston College. She taught 2nd grade in inner city Boston before she and her husband started their family and moved to New Hampshire in 1999. Mrs. Flanagan has always found Lamb’s to be a special place filled with faith and friendship… for both children and parents. She feels truly blessed to be a part of the preschool experience for our wonderful families and to work with such a loving and talented staff

  • Joan Davis Thurs AE/KE

    Joanie is happy to be joining The Lamb's Workshop this fall as the Thursday AE teacher, and currently also floating in the 3s classrooms. She was a preschool teacher for many years at Mount Calvary Christian preschool in Acton, Ma, and she recently moved to New Hampshire with her husband, Phil. They have three grown children and a dog, along with many extended family members in New England. Joanie has her Masters in Early Childhood Education/Young Children with Special Needs and has always loved working with young children since her high school babysitting days! She enjoys spending time outside with Phil - walking or hiking with their dog, reading, gardening and spending time with family. Joanie is thankful to be at Lamb's where she can share Jesus's love and amazing wonders with the children and their families!

 Our Assistants

  • Jodi Haines, Kindergarten and KE

    Jodi began her work at The Lamb’s Workshop in 2011 as Assistant Teacher in the Kindergarten class. Mrs. Haines was a 4-year-old preschool teacher prior to coming to Lamb’s. Mrs. Haines holds an A.S. Degree in Business. She and her husband, Barry have two children; Kyle and Mikayla, a dog and 2 cats. In her spare time, she likes to go camping with her family, kayaking and scrapbooking. Mrs. Haines favorite part about being at Lamb’s, “Being able to share Jesus with the children and families in addition to teaching. I love the smiles and laughs for Gods children!”

  • Anne Reynolds, Kindergarten

    Anne is excited to be joining Lamb's this year as Assistant Teacher in the Kindergarten class. For the last decade she has been teaching three and four-year-olds at another fine Bedford area preschool/kindergarten and she also assistant taught Kindergarten in Merrimack for many years prior to that. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education and has been teaching since 1987. She and her husband, Gary, have four grown children, so her students help keep her young! When she has the chance, she enjoys visiting the seacoast and the mountains.

  • Karen Roe, 4's

    ​Karen started at Lamb's in 2019 as an assistant teacher in the four-year-old classroom. Her son, Noah, attended The Lamb's Workshop for both the three-year-old and four-year-old preschool and had a wonderful experience. She worked in a preschool classroom during her four years of college and is excited to be working with young children again. When she isn't at The Lamb's Workshop, Mrs. Roe enjoys creating memories with her family, reading, and trying new recipes. She can't wait to share God's love with all of the Lamb's Workshop students!

  • Corinne Grey, 4's

    Corinne has been the assistant teacher in the 4-year-old program since 2021. For the past 10 years, she's been home raising two boys, George (11yrs old) & Louis (8 yrs old). During that time, she spent many days volunteering in their preschool and following them throughout the years to be a part of their classrooms and all of their school events. Spending time in their preschool classroom has always been Corinne's favorite place to be. The children’s eagerness to learn and the innocence of this age always held a special place in her heart. When she's not spending time cheering for her kids in their multiple sports, she loves to travel, or read a good book. "Most of all, I love spending time at home as a family. Being fairly new to the Bedford community, I’m excited to meet more wonderful families from this town. I feel Blessed to have this opportunity to share God’s love with your beautiful children".

  • Catherine Mercier

    Catherine is excited to be joining the Lamb’s family this year. She is working as an assistant in the 3’s, 4’s and AE, as well as teaching Kindergarten Enrichment on Tuesday afternoons. She has a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Elementary Education. Catherine was a Kindergarten teacher in the Binghamton, New York area for 6 years before becoming a stay at home mom with her now grown children, Zach, James and Anna. During those special years, she was active in her church’s Sunday School programs and weekday pre-school, served as a Girl Scout leader and cheered from the sidelines at many baseball and soccer games and cross-country races. Catherine and her family moved to Londonderry in 2000 and she and her husband, Stephen, still reside there. Prior to coming to Lamb's, she worked in an elementary school library for 14 years. She enjoys kayaking, baking, reading, gardening and spending time with family in her free time. Catherine is finding such joy in working with young children once again, sharing God’s love with them and partnering with this enthusiastic and supportive Lamb’s staff.

  • Beth Berry

    Mrs. Berry is thrilled to be joining the Lambs staff as an assistant teacher. All three of her children are Lambs alumni starting back in 2003. Beth has an Associates Degree in Early childhood education and taught preschool prior to having her children. Once her children were born she was blessed to be a stay at home mom. She has always loved teaching, enriching, and nurturing young children. Beth and her husband have been longtime residents of Bedford. Her two oldest sons are in college and her daughter just started high school. She also has two rescue dogs, who give tons of love. When she isn’t taking care of her family she enjoys crafting, entertaining, spending time with family and friends and watching her children’s various activities.
